I’ve worked in a variety of techniques and styles, from music and dance to metalsmithing, video installation and sculpture. Photography has risen above all other mediums as a way to capture three dimensions in two, document life and play with composition and structure. As a student of traditional arts, sculpture, metalsmithing, and drawing, I couldn’t sit still in the creative process. Photography allows me to be out in the world and within a creative mindset at the same time.
From early works that involved experimenting with infrared film and hand printing in the darkroom to the present day immersing myself in wildlife, conservation & culture, I am a part of what I shoot, the lens bridging the distance.
